Privacy

1. Introduction

Eternity Cat, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Vnutri mobile application ("App") and the vnutri.app website ("Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, where it is stored, who processes it on our behalf, and the rights you have over it. We've tried to keep this honest and specific. The App communicates only with our own REST API at vnutri.app; that API and the data behind it run on Google's Firebase platform — we say plainly which Firebase products we use in section 6.

2. What We Collect

The App collects only the minimum needed to provide the service. Specifically, we store the following items associated with an account identifier (see section 4) on our backend:

• Custom foods you create — name, category, diet tags, macronutrients, and any photo you attach
• Favorites — the list of foods you've saved
• Preferences — your chosen language and theme overrides
• Meal log entries, weight entries, and intermittent-fasting windows
• Subscription and purchase records forwarded to us by the App Store or Google Play — transaction ID, product ID, subscription status, trial and renewal dates. No payment card or banking details are sent to us; those stay with Apple or Google.

3. What We Do Not Collect

We do not use advertising, advertising identifiers, third-party trackers, marketing analytics, behavioral profiling, or crash/performance reporting inside the App. We do not sell or rent your data. We do not combine your account data with information from other services. We do not access your contacts, calendar, location, microphone, or camera, except that the photo picker lets you optionally choose an image from your library when you create a custom food.

4. Accounts and Authentication

To save your custom foods, favorites, and preferences, our backend creates an anonymous account for you the first time you open the App. This account is identified by a random unique ID generated on our server; we do not see or store your name, email, or any other identifying information. Your device receives a session token that is stored securely in iOS Keychain or Android Keystore and used to authenticate each subsequent request to our API. You can optionally sign in with Apple or Google at any time to link your anonymous account to a permanent one — this keeps your data across multiple devices and after reinstalling. Sign-in is opt-in and not required to use the App.

5. Where Your Data Is Stored

The food reference catalog itself (about 845 everyday foods and 340 dishes, with their nutrient values and photos) ships as a local database inside the App and never leaves your device. The data you create — custom foods, favorites, preferences, meal logs, weight entries, and fasting windows — is kept in a local database on your device for instant offline access, and synchronized to our backend so it survives a reinstall. The backend is operated by us (Eternity Cat, LLC) and runs as a REST API on Google's Firebase platform; the data itself is kept in Google's Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage, accessed by our server only. We do not give Firebase or any other third party direct access to your device. Our servers currently host data in the United States; see section 6 for the role Google plays.

6. Service Providers (Subprocessors)

We use a small number of trusted service providers ("subprocessors") to operate the App and our backend API. They process your data only on our instructions and only for the purposes listed:

• Google LLC (Google Cloud Run, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager) — hosts the vnutri.app website and the REST API that the App communicates with
• Google LLC (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage) — used by our backend to store account identifiers, custom foods, favorites, preferences, and tracking data (meals, weights, fasting windows). Accessed via the Firebase Admin SDK from our servers only, not from your device
• Apple Inc. (Sign in with Apple, App Store, StoreKit in-app purchases, App Store Server API and Server Notifications) — provides Sign in with Apple authentication, processes Vnutri Premium subscriptions and Lifetime purchases on iOS, and notifies our backend of renewal, cancellation, and refund events
• Google LLC (Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing, Google Play Developer API, Real-Time Developer Notifications) — provides Google Sign-In authentication, processes Vnutri Premium subscriptions and Lifetime purchases on Android, and notifies our backend of renewal, cancellation, and refund events
• Google LLC (Google Analytics, Site only) — counts aggregate visits to the Site; see section 9

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict its processing. You can delete custom foods, favorites, and tracking entries directly inside the App at any time. To request a full export or full deletion of your account and the data associated with it, contact us at the address in section 11. We will respond within thirty days. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will delete the associated account.

9. Website Analytics

The Vnutri website (vnutri.app) uses Google Analytics to count page views and understand which content visitors find useful. Google sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga) and processes the data under its own Privacy Policy. We don't combine these aggregate stats with any personal data. The App itself contains no analytics — this section applies to the Site only. To opt out across all sites, install Google's Analytics Opt-out browser add-on.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or on the app store listing with a revised effective date. Material changes will be highlighted. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
